Young brand drawing its inspiration essentially from all forms of art, A'S de la Perfection has set itself the objective, between tribute to the African continent and Africanization of modern fashion, to offer everyone, worldwide, a garment or accessory published only in a single piece or in a very limited series and made with fabrics from Africa such as wax or woven loincloth that tell a story and recycled textiles.
Creative and supportive, A'S de la Perfection donates a portion of its profits and clothing from its environmental impact reduction program in textiles thrown away with Senegalese associations in particular.
Born in 2011 in the spirit of Stéphane André Pierre Diène aka « Stefdekarda », name under which the photography services, computer graphics and multimedia are also offered by the company in Senegal, this ethical and solidarity concept store, led by Angélique Marguerite Berthe Diène, commonly called « Blacky Gyan », is the result of two passions: one of creating an own fashion and one of bringing new life to old clothes and accessories as well as recycled materials.
A'S de la Perfection collections include ready-to-wear for men and women, small leather goods, shoes and accessories.
« A » and «S » refer to Angelique and Stéphane, sister and brother precursors of the concept. It is also the initials of Art and Style, the two themes chosen and represent Africa and Senegal, for a « racial » identity.
The word « Perfection », it is, in no way, the reflection of a utopian quest or a personal aptitude (an ace of perfection). « We are confident and certain that we would be able to evolve in an almost perfect world if everybody adds in a bit. Solidarity among humans has become rare. That is why we have chosen to donate a portion of our profits to associations fighting against inequality and especially in children. As young people, we need to act for the children who are the adults of tomorrow. »
« Perfection » also refers to self-acceptance and body. The originality of the brand lies in the choice of its ambassadors, mainly, who « come out of the sizes 34-36 »; hence, a harmony between its image and mobilizing close to his heart since its inception; namely, to show people with voluptuous forms that fashion is done with them.
