Early on I was interested in gemmology. Then, I trained in jewelry making, embroidery and pearl stitching. In order to create my various collections, I follow my passions; pearls and stones, Art, History and travels. This allowed me to design thematic collections for various museums in Quebec, Canada and Europe. These collections were inspired by numerous themes such as :
The Etruscans, The Dawn of Pharaohs, The Masters of Olympus, The Samouraïs, India and its miniatures as well as 'Voodoo- Haïti in extremis'.
Also exhibits on French, Italian and Spanish Renaissance (end of XIVc. until XVIIc.) Raphaël, Le Pérugin, Fra Angelico, El Greco etc.
As well, a collection on Venitiens and Florentines Painters; Le Tintoret, Véronèse, Canaletto, Guardi etc. Another on From Gréco to Dali.
Then, many collections inspired by the Impressionists like Henri Matisse and the Masters of Art Nouveau like Gustav Klimt and Fabergé.
There is also 'The women of Mexico and United States' such as Frida Khalo.
I also created collections from the Russian Ballets of Diaghilev and Paris 'Les années folles'. Then, there is John Lyman. Also Andy Warhol and the Pop Art and lets not forget the collection on The Beatles.
In Quebec, a collection on The Nouvelle France and Samuel de Champlain plus jewelry inspired by museums permanent exhibits on various Quebec and Canadian painters.
The materials I use come from all over the world; Salt and soft water pearls, cloisonné and sculpted beads, precious and semi-precious stones, crystals, porcelains, and glass beads. Wood or metallic beads complete the items. I work with silver and brass as well as gold plated metal. All items are hypoallergenic.
I create necklaces, earrings, bracelets, brooches as well as various accessories such as eyeglass necklaces( chains, ribbons), key rings, bookmarks, letter openers. All items are created and handmade in Quebec.
